I've done a few more watercolor paintings this month, two of which I am pretty pleased with. Not much to tell besides that. Well, there is one other thing... If I can swing it financially, I will be sending out Halloween cards this year. This is what they'll look like.

Last night I posted a fuckton of jewelry in my Etsy shop that Sarah made inspired by my art, as you can see on Facebook. There are many fabulous necklaces, earrings and rings that I am extremely proud of. Eventually we plan on adding brooches, too.

I also did some mad revamping of my prints, including prices, descriptions and additional options. I reduced the shipping on the magnets from $2.00 to 50¢ and priced the 4" X 6" prints at $10 instead of $15. Now there is an option on the large matted prints to have them mounted on an 8" X 10" black art board, not just the 11" X 14". It's your choice. In addition, I combined Space I and Space II so that if you want both prints, you can purchase both for only $25. Aren't I nice?

I recently stocked up on a bunch of supplies as well so I can get orders out faster. I finally got a paper cutter! As soon as I put together and load up the print racks and drying racks I bought from Jerry's Artarama, I believe my studio will be completely set up! It feels good. I'll post pictures soon. I may clean up the edges a bit tomorrow, but this is basically the final version of "Sex & Violence", soon to be on a t-shirt.

This week has been crazy busy and it's not even over yet. I had two deadlines to meet. One is still not quite yet met, but the other one was. The first was the LATco poster and promo card (both pictured below) for their upcoming production, called "Conscience Hesitatus", that premieres this July.

The second is the "Sex & Violence" project, which I don't think I've mentioned here. It's a t-shirt design requested by one of my closest friends that is based on characters inspired by a comic book I wrote (but haven't completed yet), called "Brain Candy". I'll post the first draft below and then the finished piece later when, well, when it's finished, so that you can see the progress. I'm really happy with how "Sex" (the female character) came out. However, I plan on totally revamping "Violence". Something's not quite right about him.

One more thing before I crawl off to bed... Earlier tonight I did something I normally don't do; I went to a group meditation/reading that another close friend invited me to and I actually had a pretty good experience. When I had my cards read, they told me I have the ability to find beauty in dark things and that it was a gift I should be thankful for. I am. I just thought that was neat, especially considering the question I held in my head was about my potential art career.
